A Whole New World FINAL YEAR!

Katie is thrilled to be returning to Mercury Theatre Company for the FINAL YEAR of A Whole New World Disney Musical! 

Fall/Winter 2017

Katie made her Near West Theatre debut as a SIlly Girl and featured dancer in Beauty and the Beast!

Winter/Spring 2017

Katie is proud to present her MT Voice Senior Recital at Youngstown State University Saturday February 4th of 2017 in the Recital Hall of Bliss Hall at 7:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend, no admission fee and reception to follow.

On Saturday March 25th 2017 at 7:30 p.m. Katie Jerome and Stefon Funderburke will collaborate to present their senior project in Spotlight Theater at Bliss Hall. Do not miss out on a night of acting, singing. dancing and stage combat! No admission required.

November/December 2016

Katie played the role of Domina in YSU's A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. She was nominated by the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival for the Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship competition in January 2017!

Katie had the opportunity to work with Cleveland Musical Theatre for their Pop/Rock Intensive with Natalie Weiss and Martin Cespedes. She was honored to work with Weiss one-on-one and perform with her on stage at the Music Box Supper Club!

Summer 2016

Katie is very happy to be spending her summer as a company member with Mercury Theatre Company! She will be in the ensemble for Beauty and the Beast running June 10-25 and The Little Mermaid running August 5-20. Get your tickets now at http://www.mercurytheatrecompany.org/

Spring 2016

Katie, along with other YSU MTs, performed with Barry Manilow at the covelli Centre in April for his One Last Time tour.

Katie is delighted to be reprising her role in Mercury Theatre Company's A Whole New World A New Musical. For more information go to mercurytheatrecompany.org.

 

Katie finished off her run as Madame Pernelle in YSU's Tartuffe in February and March.

Fall 2015

Katie played the role of Rona Lisa Peretti in Youngstown State Universitty's production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

Spring 2015

Katie would like to send a thank you to Mercury Theatre Company for having her in their A Whole New World A New Musical!

 

Katie is very pleased to announce she will be playing the role of Mary Dobrejcak in YSU's production of Out of This Furnace.

Fall 2014

Katie will be understudying the lead role of Percy Talbott in YSU's production of The Spitfire Grill with a guaranteed performance on Saturday October 25th at 7:30 in the Ford Theater! See below for details.

Summer 2014

Katie is happy to announce she will be spending her summer working as a Marketing Intern for the Cleveland Play House.

 

Come see Katie at the Beachcliff Tavern in Rocky River on August 9th at 8:00 p.m. She will be performing popular covers from artists like Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Melissa Etheridge, The Cranberries and more! She will also be debuting some original pieces. Come check out this all acoustic one woman show! 

April 2014

Katie performed with the YSU Dance Ensemble in Ford Theater for their annual concert.

February/March 2014

Katie is playing Feste in YSU's production of Twelfth Night in 2014. She performs 4 songs she composed for the show! Call the YSU box office for ticket information!

November 2013

Katie has recently closed her first show at Youngstown State University, Celebrating 50 Years of Theater: A Musical Commemoration!​
